I studied esthetics here and had a great experience. The highlight of my experience was when I decided to do the additional paramedical course with Irina. She was thorough, informative, and refused to move on from subjects until we all fully understood what we were discussing. The paramedical course gave us an in depth background into paramedical esthetics, and also gave us additional certifications for dermaplaning, advanced chemical peels, and laser. I immediately was hired to work at a MediSpa upon graduating at Luz MediSpa in Somers NY, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything has turned out. The NYSE is incredibly passionate about teaching and preparing their students for the state board test and to succeed in their future as estheticians. New York School of Esthetics is proud to be a hybrid esthetics school, which means we offer a full-time and part-time option for our accredited esthetics program. Full-time students could complete our 600-hour esthetics program in as little as 21 weeks. This is a commitment of 30 hours per week.
Part-time students could complete the program in as few as 52.5 weeks. Part-time evening classes are held Monday through Wednesday, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This is 12 hours per week and is ideal for students who have full-time work or other daytime commitments. The part-time schedule is an excellent option for those who desire a career change but can’t go back to school full-time.

During the hands-on part of the education process, students work in the clinic and have the opportunity to learn about additional skincare lines from our back bar. Being well-rounded and educated in multiple skincare lines is excellent preparation for a career as an esthetician.
Your enrollment process at New York School of Esthetics begins here. Contact us to request information or to schedule a tour of our facilities. During your personal tour, you will get the opportunity to see the classrooms, equipment, and clinic area where students provide services to clients under the direct supervision of licensed instructors. We will also interview you to learn more about your educational and career goals, and to answer any questions you may have about the program. After that, you can fill out the necessary paperwork. To enroll, you must be at least 17 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and submit a valid photo ID.
Our hybrid esthetics program gives you the flexibility to choose between a full-time program or a part-time program. Students who take the full-time program could complete the program in as little as 21 weeks, or five months. Students who choose the evening classes in the part-time program could complete the program in as little as 52.5 weeks, or one year.
Tuition for the esthetics program is $9,475. The student kit costs $700, books cost $450, educational material and software cost $150, and uniforms cost $60. There is a $100 non-refundable registration fee. Add these all up, and the total costs are $10,935.
Our esthetics program teaches students the theory behind skincare and allows students to practice their skills through hands-on work in the student clinic. A wide variety of instructional methods are used, including lectures, videos, software training, conferences, guest speakers, demonstrations, and practical practice.
Yes, our 600-hour esthetics program is NYS-approved and has a state-approved curriculum and equipment, reviewed by industry experts. We prepare students to sit for the State exam, which could allow them to become licensed estheticians in the state of New York.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to find out what you qualify for. Federal financial aid comes in both need-based and non-need-based forms, which could include grants or loans.
